I was inspired to create this necklace by the beautiful architecture of ancient cathedral buildings with their sweeping arches and archaic stone texture.

I made this necklace from solid sterling silver that I formed, shaped and textured. The delicate 'arch' is attached to the necklace by a hand-forged hinge or 'pinned' setting. The hinge setting is so fun and satisfying to play or twiddle with--the perfect beautiful and minimal accessory to keep your fingers busy.
